Our Services
Explore a variety of offerings at Millstone, including classes, concerts, festivals, and more. Whether you're interested in art, music, or outdoor activities, we have something for everyone.

Classes
We have a long history of embodying a “folk school” mentality. A desire to pass along sustainable skills, stories, and memories. We offer workshop/classes in a wide variety of areas: artisan skills, art classes, agriculture workshops, ecology, regional history, wildlife, science, farm to table cooking, and more. Our classes range from simple 2-4 hour workshops to full week intensive classes.

Festivals
Over time we have hosted a number of Festivals: Weaving, Winter Art Festival, Celtic Music Festival, and have been home to Summer Festivals and Family Fest with our church partners.

Disc Golf
Millstone's 18 hole disc golf course is absolutely gorgeous. High rising hills and low lying shoreline. A bit of everything: long throws through the pasture, trick shots through the woods, and of course the water hazards! Playing off the deck of the boathouse - across the water- to the basket out on the point is a shot to master! Each hole has a long and short distances to accommodate whatever level player you might be. Millstone is a private course. To play the course just text or call ahead. The course is almost always available but occasionally an activity or facility rental client may have something else going on. One may join Millstone as a Disc Golf member and receive a discount on play. Or one may play time to time for a course greens fee of $5.00. The fee may be paid in cash, Venmo or Square. Summer Camps
The 2025 Summer Camp opportunities are currently in the planning stages. We know our Disc Golf Camps will be part of the roster as will our Roughing It camp and Fiber Arts Camp. We have 1 day 2 day and full week camps. The majority of our Summer Camps are co-ed and are for young people ages 6-12. Our Roughing It camp will have a division for youth 10-16. Our camp counselors are deeply vetted, have experience working with young people, and are enthusiastic about their work with young people. We also have peer leaders for many of our camp youth the same age as campers with a high degree of skill

Farm Tour
2025 will be our 18th Annual Fall Farm Tour and the 2nd of the new Spring Harvest Tour! These very popular tours highlight the Agricultural/Ranching aspects of our north Florida and south Georgia communities. For a weekend each autumn and spring, farms-groves-orchards-ranches-gardens open their gates to the public at no charge. The community visits as many of the tour farms as they wish (The 2024 Annual Farm Tour had 45 farms on tour for the public to choose from!) The goal of the Tours is three fold: 1) for the public to get out and see where their food comes from—to make a connection with the land and natural products and make contact with farmers they can buy from 2) for growers and producers to expand their market as well as to learn what the public is interested in 3) to provide a unique weekend for families to get out and enjoy the country….see what’s behind those fences! For a better idea of what the tour is like, click here to see the guidebooks from the 2024 tours. The 2025 tours will take place MAY 10-11 and OCTOBER 11-12.

Concerts
Concerts can happen anytime! Upcoming events include Celtic concerts, bluegrass concerts, and a folk-acoustic day to celebrate Earth Day April 2025. We frequently have music incorporated into other events, such as Celebration of Life events or Festivals. Live music at wedding receptions, parties or outdoor food events is the norm

Plein Air Painting
Millstone welcomes plein air artists. The immense diversity of the farm and property offer boundless opportunities for painters, sketch artists, and photographers. A quiet day by the lake is inspiration for writers! The lake, the hills, the farm buildings, the animals, the woods, the patriarch oaks and upland pines, present a wide variety of possibilities. Throughout the year we alert plein air artists of events they may wish to capture as well as present an “open door” policy of simply making a reservation to come enjoy and paint. The same holds true for writers, photographers, and musicians. We welcome creatives to the property for inspiration and respite. Contact us to make your reservation today!

Walking Trails
The trails at Millstone pass through pasture, shoreline, hills, woods. The roughly 3.5 mile Disc Golf Couse is perfect for walking. One can make it a slow mosey or a brisk challenging hike. Rest under the ancient oak or catch your breath in the boathouse.

Spring Shearing
Late spring is when we shear the sheep! Families, homeschool groups, classes are welcome to come watch (and maybe participate) the sharing process.

Earth Day Celebration
In partnership with OLLI and the community, Millstone celebrates Earth Day with picnic and music On The Hill. Earth Day 2025 is April 22, with Earth Week being the 16-22. At Millstone we honor the era when the first Earth Day was celebrated (1970) with acoustic music and messages of sustainability. Millstone will have picnic goodies available and visitors are welcome to bring their own picnics. Planning is underway—follow us here for information on the 2025 celebration!
