Mission Statement

"Honor the legacy, Protect the waters, Celebrate the spirit"

At the Millstone Institute of Preservation, we aim to preserve heritage and encourage responsible stewardship. Our organization promotes the appreciation of preservation, wilderness protection, sustainability, and artisanal arts. Located on a sacred hill, our events, classes, and workshops are designed to connect people of all ages to the land and honor the legacy of Mrs. Jessie Conrad. We empower individuals to adopt sustainable practices, protect cultural heritage, and shape a thriving future.

Our History

The Millstone Institute of Preservation rests atop a beautiful hill in North Florida, showcasing the area's rich heritage and natural beauty. Known as a "sacred hill" to indigenous peoples, this historic estate spans 100 acres of serene landscapes surrounded by lush forests and former farmland. At its center stands a stunning plantation-style house, a 1940s gem that provides breathtaking views of Lake McBride. This picturesque location serves as a venue for various events, reunions, and immersive courses that honor the visionary woman behind it all: Mrs. Jessie Conrad.
